Random Rough Girl Roundup

Writer's block is tough. The novel is sputtering. So I decided to write something, anything. Here you go. Pornstar Babylon reports Teagan Presley won a best female performer award at 2010 Nightmoves for her girl/girl work. Teagan got into the biz through stripping, which angered her boyfriend so much that she went to a porn agent to get revenge on him. You go girl.

More recently, Teagan auctioned her breast implants on EBay and turned all-girl performer. Sounds like it's working out for her. She claims that while bisexual, she still needs a man. Sounds like she has one more thing to sell on EBay. Meanwhile, AfterEllen reported on a new film called Perfect Family which features Emily Deschanel from Bones playing a lesbian daughter of Kathleen Turner's character. I've always loved Emily and Bones. Why is she playing a lesbian in a film? I don't know. She just got married. This is a mystery to me. See Emily in a somewhat dated interview on Liz Feldman's hysterical AfterEllen VLog here. I'm watching the VLog now. Again. Maybe I'll find out something new about Emily, but I'm not holding out much hope. (She was #69 on the AfterEllen Hot 100 list a few years ago.)

Lastly, I could comment on the GQ photo shoot featuring Glee actresses Lea Michele and Dianna Agron. My feelings are as mixed as the creative project itself. Good and fine--two bad girls wanting to be bad and exploit their own tushies. Not so good--the male photographer's great idea of shooting the pics in his own high school. That's just a little creepy. The girls should not be apologizing. The photographer maybe. But what if he hypothetically weren't a grown man, and were an actual high school student at that school? That would be fine? I feel suddenly transported to a high school contemporary issues debate class. Ok, that's all I've got. Cheers to you and my friendly spam bots. Stay bad.
